Terms and Conditions for Physiotherapy Services at TheraPhysio Physiotherapy Clinic

1. Introduction

1.1. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") apply to all physiotherapy services provided by TheraPhysio ("we", "us", "our") at our clinic located within the health club premises ("Naked Ground Health Club"). By booking an appointment with us, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1.2. These Terms may be updated from time to time, and it is your responsibility to review them regularly.

2. Services Provided

2.1. TheraPhysio provides physiotherapy services within the premises of the gym to assist with the diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation of musculoskeletal conditions.

2.2. Our services include, but are not limited to, initial assessment, manual therapy, exercise prescription, injury prevention advice and on-site rehabilitation.

2.3. Physiotherapy services are provided by registered and qualified physiotherapists who adhere to the ethical and professional standards set by the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) / Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP).

3. Booking and Appointments

3.1. Appointments must be booked in advance via our website. Feel free to message us on instagram or visit the ''Contact Us'' page on our webesite for more information about how to reach out to us. 

3.2. By booking an appointment, you confirm that you have provided accurate details about your health, fitness level, and any medical conditions relevant to your physiotherapy treatment.

3.3. If you are under the age of 18, you must have consent from a parent or guardian to receive treatment.

3.4. Physiotherapy appointments are provided separately from Gym memberships. Booking a physiotherapy session does not entitle you to any access to Gym facilities unless otherwise specified by Gym management or Ourselves. A gym membership is not required during our treatment sessions, full use of equipment (if required) comes with no extra cost. Further use of the gym facilities outside treatment hours, requires a gym membership with the Naked Ground Health Club.

4. Payment

4.1. Payment for physiotherapy services is required at the time of the session, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

4.2. We accept payment via debit/credit card.

4.3. Charges for missed or late appointments will apply as detailed in Section 5.

5. Cancellations and No-Shows

5.1. If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, we require at least 24 hours' notice.

5.2. Cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled appointment will incur a cancellation fee of 50% of the treatment cost, whichever is higher.

5.3. No-show appointments (where you fail to attend without notice) will be charged the full treatment fee.

5.4. In exceptional circumstances, cancellation fees may be waived at the discretion of TheraPhysio.

6. Gym Access and Conduct

6.1. While attending your physiotherapy session, you may have access to the Gym facilities if agreed upon by both the Gym and the Physiotherapy Clinic. However, this access is separate from your physiotherapy appointment.

6.2. You agree to comply with the Gym’s Code of Conduct, rules, and health and safety regulations during your time within the Gym premises.

6.3. The physiotherapy clinic is not responsible for any injury, loss, or damage caused by your use of Gym facilities outside of your treatment session.

7. Confidentiality and Data Protection

7.1. We are committed to keeping your personal and health-related information confidential, in compliance with the Data Protection Act 2018 and GDPR.

7.2. Your information will only be shared with third parties (such as insurance providers, or other medical professionals) with your explicit consent, unless required by law.

7.3. You may request access to your records or request updates to your personal data by contacting us in writing.

8. Health and Safety

8.1. It is your responsibility to inform your physiotherapist of any medical conditions, allergies, or medications that may affect your treatment.

8.2. You should not attend your physiotherapy appointment if you feel unwell or are experiencing symptoms of illness, including fever, cough, or shortness of breath.

8.3. If you experience any discomfort or adverse effects during or after treatment, you must inform your physiotherapist immediately.

8.4. You are also required to follow the health and safety instructions provided by Gym staff when using any Gym facilities in connection with your physiotherapy treatment.

9. Liability

9.1. TheraPhysio will take all reasonable care to provide safe and professional physiotherapy services. However, you acknowledge that physiotherapy treatment involves certain inherent risks, and you accept responsibility for these risks.

9.2. TheraPhysio is not liable for any injury, loss, or damage caused by your failure to follow the advice or instructions provided during or after your treatment.

9.3. We are not responsible for any loss, damage, or theft of personal property while attending the Gym or our physiotherapy clinic.

10. Feedback and Complaints

10.1. We value your feedback. If you have any concerns or complaints regarding your treatment or service, please inform us as soon as possible.

10.2. Complaints should be submitted in writing to malexiou@theraphysio.co.uk, and we will acknowledge receipt of your complaint within 7 working days.

11. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

11.1. These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

11.2. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

13. Acceptance of Terms

By booking and attending a physiotherapy appointment at TheraPhysio Physiotherapy Clinic, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
